Troop 279 PERMISSION SLIP
As the parent or legal guardian of the Scout listed below, I hereby give my permission for him to participate in the outing indicated below with Troop 279.

I give permission to the leaders of the above Troop to render First Aid, should the need arise. In the event of an emergency, I also give permission to the physician, selected by the adult leader in charge, to hospitalize, secure proper anesthesia, order injection, or secure other medical treatment, as needed. I further agree to hold the above named unit and its leaders blameless for any accidents that might occur during this outing except for clear acts of negligence or non-adherence to BSA policies and guidelines.

**Your son may be exposed to and participate in scouting related activities as appropriate and outlined in the Boy Scout Manual as well as the Guide to Safe Scouting. The signing of the above permission slip includes your willingness to allow your child the “Scouting Experience” and participating in such activities at the camping location or off-site. Please note: Every effort is made to keep you as parents and guardians informed of our activities in advance, however from time to time, activities must be changed due to weather or other extenuating circumstances out of our control. These decisions will be made at the discretion of the scoutmaster or other adult leader in charge**
